Join us at Ashe Cultural Arts Center Thursday May 4, 2017 6 PM - 10 PM and be ready to dance!  Start the evening with DJ Jneiro with hosts Denise Frazier and Hollywood.  Experience performances by Jose Fermin Ceballos, Cuban Free Hop artist David D'Omni, and New Orleans legend Deacon John.  Preview the documentary, The Black Roots of Salsa and get into that Cuban to Congo Square groove with Bamboula 2000 featuring Alexey Marti, David D'Omni, Deacon John and Jose Fermin Ceballos.

Bookoo Rueda is branching out!  Together with Susanne Hackett, we will be there showcasing a piece that highlights David's art and pays tribute to the culture bearers, musicians, and artists.

Bookoo Rueda was founded in 2014 on a dare.  That dare became a mission.  We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization connecting people, communities, and cultures through dance.  We take dance out of the studio and into the community.
