Wed July 19th is a dry run to test out the sound system and work out any kinks. The official kick off will be Wed July 26th when Old New Orleans Rum will join us to offer a rum tasting and lessons in mixing.

Then next Wed April 19th, we are on the move meeting at Lafayette Square for Wednesdays in the Square followed by a rooftop movie at the Catahoula Hotel.
AND! Sunday April 23rd we are back in City Park! While the weather holds, we are taking it back outside again. Una bulla!
Today Bookoo Rueda joined the Caribbean Vernacular and Social Dance class at Tulane to introduce them to Rueda de Casino. I've never noticed just how many of the basic calls reference baseball until teaching baseball players today. The pitchers, short stop and dance majors all did a phenomenal job!
For dancers who want to accelerate their learning, refine technique, or prefer more detailed, technical and customized instruction, we offer individual and group lessons!
To schedule, you will need to be a Bookoo Rueda Member Learn more about individual & group lesson Here.
Bookoo Rueda takes over Top Taco! Find us on Nola.com, and in the Gambit along with Los Poboycitos, Muevelo, & Otra!
17 dancers from Bookoo Rueda joined Top Taco staff and Beam Sunatory in making the festival a success and raising tens of thousands of dollars for One Heart NOLA.

Bookoo Rueda was founded in 2014 on a dare. That dare became a mission. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization connecting people, communities, and cultures through dance. We take dance out of the studio and into the community.
